Metal Distribution D‑Ring, 2-inch

Vertical Cable 048‑170/D2 Metal Distribution D‑Ring, 2‑Inch The Vertical Cable 048‑170/D2 is a robust and compact 2-inch aluminum distribution D-ring designed for efficient cable routing and support in structured cabling installations. Engineered for durability and ease of use, this metal D-ring provides dependable cable management in network racks, wall-mounted panels, and data center enclosures. Constructed from corrosion-resistant aluminum, this D-ring is built to withstand demanding installation environments. With a 2-inch internal diameter, it’s ideal for managing small to medium-sized bundles of CAT5e, CAT6, coaxial, or fiber optic cables, helping to maintain proper bend radius and reduce stress on cable terminations. While the manufacturer lists a theoretical maximum of 425 CAT5E cables, real-world usage scenarios suggest a more practical capacity of 20 to 30 standard CAT5E or CAT6 cables, depending on how the cables are bundled and routed. This ensures the D-ring functions effectively without compromising cable performance or serviceability.
