2' Contour Balcony Glider

2' Contour Balcony Glider  Bring the perfect blend of fluid design, soothing rhythm, and ergonomic support to your outdoor retreat with the LuxCraft Contour Outdoor Glider Collection. Proudly built by hand in our Ohio Amish Country workshop, these premium gliders combine traditional woodworking heritage with a sleek, modern aesthetic. Unlike classic rocking chairs that require a large footprint to pivot, our precision-engineered gliders deliver a smooth, horizontal movement that remains entirely self-contained. It is the perfect, space-saving focal point for porches, decks, and patios where you want to sit back, relax, and glide effortlessly into a calmer frame of mind. Ergonomic Sculpting for Lasting Support The standout feature of the Contour series is its commitment to your physical comfort. Both the seat and the tall backrest are masterfully shaped to track the natural curvature of the human body. By matching your form, the glider eliminates the rigid pressure points common in traditional flat-backed outdoor furniture, giving you uniform lumbar and thigh support during extended periods of relaxation. With a generous 18-inch seat depth and a beautifully arched profile, you are cradled in complete comfort from the moment you sit down. Zero-Maintenance Poly Lumber Construction Say goodbye to the yearly chore of stripping, sanding, staining, and painting your outdoor furniture. The entire frame and slat system is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), an advanced composite that outlasts natural wood in every environment. Eco-Friendly Legacy: Made from post-consumer waste, such as recycled milk jugs and detergent bottles, our material contains over 90% recycled plastic by weight and is cleaned to an exceptional 99% purity level. Weatherproof Armor: This non-porous material is fully resistant to moisture, rotting, fading, and wood-boring insects. It withstands intense summer sun, torrential rain, and sub-zero winter temperatures without cracking, splintering, or warping. UV-Stabilized Color: Using advanced pigment systems, the rich color is baked completely through the core of the boards to minimize material breakdown and preserve a bright, uniform finish over time. Smooth Glide Engineering & Heavy-Duty Hardware The magic of the LuxCraft experience lies in its whisper-quiet, consistent movement. Every glider comes equipped with heavy-duty stainless steel hardware and precision-engineered gliding mechanisms. This structural stability prevents side-to-side wobble, ensuring a perfectly straight, balanced motion year after year. Because the mechanisms slide parallel to the deck, you do not need extra rear clearance space as you would with an old-fashioned rocker, making it incredibly easy to position close to walls or railings. Because the material naturally resists dirt and environmental grease, deep cleaning is rarely required: Everyday Care: Simply brush away loose twigs, pollen, or leaves, then rinse the entire glider down with a regular garden hose. Dealing with Stains: For tougher spots like bird droppings or tree sap, mix warm water with a mild dish soap. Scrub gently with a soft-bristle brush or sponge, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. What to Avoid: Skip the harsh industrial chemical cleaners, solvents, or steel wool pads, as they can dull the surface texture of the poly lumber. For a pristine finish, utilize our specialized Poly-Brite Cleaning Kit to maintain a factory-fresh look with ease. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Q: What makes LuxCraft poly furniture better than cheaper alternatives? A: Many budget plastic chairs are mass-produced using flimsy injection-molded plastic that becomes brittle and cracks in the sun. LuxCraft products are constructed from dense, heavy-duty poly lumber board stock held together with marine-grade stainless steel fasteners. Every piece is crafted using traditional woodworking techniques in Ohio Amish Country, guaranteeing structural stability and a high-end finish that stands the test of time. Q: How does poly lumber compare directly to natural wood outdoor furniture? A: Natural wood absorbs humidity and changes shape, which causes the grain to twist, split, and splinter. It also demands constant staining, painting, or waterproofing to prevent rot. LuxCraft poly lumber delivers the beautiful, substantive weight of premium wood furniture but completely resists moisture, fading, and insect attacks, allowing you to spend your weekends relaxing instead of doing maintenance.
