Product Specification Shipping Refund Product Specification 2" CERAMIC QUICK CHANGE DISCS - 25 PACK Benchmark Abrasives 2" Ceramic Quick Change Discs combine the effectiveness and versatility of Ceramic cloth discs with the convenience of the quick-change roll-on backing. These quick-change sanding discs provide the perfect size for both tightly-contoured, hard-to-reach sections and larger surface areas.  Ceramic quick change discs run cool during rapid stock removal on heat sensitive metals: stainless steel, aluminum, high nickel alloys, and titanium. They adhere to an R-Type backing (equivalent to the 3M Roloc fastening system). Due to a grinding aid that reduces heat, glazing loading, and stripping, these discs are the go-to options for grinding, deburring, and finishing small areas where heat is a concern. These ceramic quick change sanding discs can be used on flat or contoured surfaces, at odd angles, or in compact spaces where a more extensive grinding could not work. The ceramic grains are resin on resin bonded to the backing providing more excellent grain retention, as well as heat and moisture resistance.  Quantity: 25 pieces Use in combination with our 2” Quick Change Rubber Mandrel **Mandrel sold separately** Dimensions: Outer Diameter – 2”  Shank Diameter – R-Type quick change connection Backing Material – X-weight Cloth    Grain – Ceramic Available Grits – 24, 36, 40, 50, 60, 80, 120 Max RPM – 25,000 Machines Used On: Die Grinders and hand-held pneumatic grinders Application: Ferrous Materials – Cast Iron, Steel, Stainless, Steel, Titanium, Nickel, Wrought Iron Non-Ferrous Materials - Copper Other Materials – Fiberglass, Plastic, Hard Rubber, Wood, Stone Dry use ONLY Safety Tips & Techniques: Product requires a 2” Type R quick change backing pad to be used Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
