2.5 River Rat

2.5 Squarebill Crankbait   The 2.5 Squarebill Crankbait is built to put big fish in the boat when it matters most. Designed for power fishing and durability, this bait excels in shallow water and heavy cover where aggressive bass are feeding.   Featuring a bold, natural color pattern with smooth transitions and subtle detailing, the 2.5 perfectly mimics larger baitfish like bluegill and perch—triggering hard reaction strikes in both clear and stained water. The wider body profile pushes more water, creating increased vibration and drawing attention from bigger fish.   The square bill design allows this bait to deflect off wood, rock, and structure without hanging up, making it a go-to choice for fishing around timber, laydowns, and brush.   Equipped with sharp and reliable #4 treble hooks, you’ll get solid hooksets and better landing ratios when it counts.   Key Features:   Diving Depth: 3–6 feet (varies by line type and size — fluorocarbon gets it deeper)   Premium #4 Treble Hooks for strong, consistent hookups   Square Bill Design for superior deflection and reduced snags   Custom Hand-Painted Finish with realistic detail and high-gloss durability   Wide-Wobble Action & Increased Vibration to attract bigger bass   Excellent in Timber & Shallow and some medium Cover — built to bounce through wood, stumps, and brush   Whether you're targeting bass in shallow flats, working through submerged timber, or covering water quickly, the 2.5 delivers the action, durability, and performance serious anglers demand.   Disclaimer: This is a custom, hand-painted bait. Some details may vary—no two are exactly alike, just like real baitfish in nature. While we do our best to match patterns consistently, each lure is unique. Order times are TBD due to high demand.
