They are carefully sequenced lessons with model, guided practice, and independent practice problems that introduce skills incrementally. Example IEP goals in each workbook are tied to standards and can save you time planning and writing IEPs.   Step-by-Step Math to Mastery is unique because it focuses on one fundamental skill at a time until it is mastered. I have found that these units are THE BEST materials I have used for my math groups in my special education class (from TpT or curriculum materials). The direct instruction model is exactly what we need! These are also awesome resources for my assistants with the clear directions for what the teacher should say and do. I can just print the unit I want them to teach and let them go!" -Martha C.   ❤️ “I use this resource for my self-contained classroom and I love how the activities are differentiated so that my students have autonomy and confidence while completing math assignments. I definitely recommend this resource to use as an intervention for small groups. My students and I love these math activities because they are so engaging." -Allison G.   ❤️ “I’ve started using this as an intervention for my students who are 1-2 grade levels lower than expected. They are doing so much better! I appreciate that there is more than one worksheet for each concept and I can choose which ones I want to use. It’s been an extremely helpful resource to provide extra practice for students." -Andrea K.   ❤️ “This resource is wonderful! It has been helpful for me to use with our resource room instructional aide as she works with small groups and individual students on their math goals." -Kim C.   ❤️ “Thank you so much. I was looking for a resource for my 1st and 2nd grade resource room. General education curriculum/materials made teaching math cumbersome. I felt like I spent more time teaching the various components of the program and teaching math was secondary. This is just what I needed to make Math manageable for my special learners. I love that examples are concrete and instruction is direct. Thank you so much!" -Sherri H.   ❤️ “Worth every penny! Love using these in my 1-3rd special education class. Easy to use, great for practice and I appreciate that it isn't too "busy". Thanks!" -Liberty's Learners   ❤️ “Very good system for older students with disabilities." -Alicia M.   ❤️ “What a lifesaver this is going to be for me! I have been looking for explicit and systematic math lessons for my special education resource students and I have found it! This bundle is totally worth the money.
