1978-1979 Bronco Standard 6 Point Interior Tube Support (PF551)

The 1978-1979 Bronco 6 Point Interior Tube Support provides superior protection for your Bronco. It meets the truck at 6 of its strongest points to ensure strength and stability when you need it most. It offers full front cab protection as well as rear protection. Aside from the Family Interior Tube Support, this is the safest design available.  It is made from 2" 0.120 wall tubing and is designed to ensure plenty of headroom and to provide the security and safety that is always first priority on our products.  Tube Kit: None of the components are welded together. Tubes are coped for the back half however the front half will need to be assembled inside the truck and coped and cut to fit. Requires an experienced installer with metal working capabilities such as welding, cutting, coping and bending. It is a common occurrence to have to move the metal around when tack welding it together. Please tack weld everything before doing a final weld. Mostly Welded: The entire back half of the tube kit is welded together but the front half is not. It will have to be assembled inside the truck and coped and cut to fit. Requires an experienced installer with metal working capabilities such as welding, cutting, coping and bending. It is a common occurrence to have to move the metal around when tack welding it together. Please tack weld everything before doing a final weld. Seat Belts We do not weld in seat belt tabs due to the varying types of belts available and because it is better to measure where you'd like them with the cage sitting in your truck and the seat still installed. We also do not recommend using bungs for your seat belts because when you drill into the legs, you weaken the integrity of the legs. It is best to use a weld on tab vs a bung. You can find tabs at this website for a couple dollars a piece.  https://motobilt.com/products/seat-belt-tab-steel For any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at 928-632-0216 or info@protofab4x4.com
