1975 / MCMLXXV

This version of "1975" is the 2020 printing of the classic MCMLXXV module for 5E, Dungeon Crawl Classics, Pathfinder, and Swords & Wizardry. (The 2019 printing is included with the 5E and Swords & Wizardry versions.) It includes 6 standalone full-color maps. 2 PSD Maps and 4 JPEG Maps. Bill’s Module for Swords & Wizardry Bill Webb’s module was written for the Swords & Wizardry Kickstarter bonus goal. It is a second introductory module to Matt Finch’s first Introductory module, Grimmsgate. “This module is intended to show how old school roleplaying provides enhanced descriptions and provides not only storyline and encounters, but creates a feeling of “being there”. I have borrowed from work I did supporting Matt Finch at North Texas RPG Con in 2011, as well as sessions I ran at PaizoCon in 2011 and 2012. Kudos to Tabletop Adventures (http://www.tabletopadventures.com/) for the great work they have put in over the years in providing table-ready description text. Back in the old days, this was the way it was done—on the fly, by the old-timers (and this author counts himself an “old-timer”).” 1975 is meant to take you back to that time the “old-timers” talk about with a look of wistfulness in their eyes. Join us as we all travel back to 1975. From the back cover: An old map leads the characters on the trail to a horseshoe-shaped valley in search of treasure. This introductory-level adventure is based on the old-school approach of “hex-crawling,” exploring through unknown areas toward a mysterious objective. Dangers abound along the way, but fortune favors the bold!
