Circa 1940s platinum emerald and diamond bypass ring, defined by the bold geometry and confident optimism of the era. The sculptural bypass form reflects the architectural influence of the 1940s, with strong lines, purposeful symmetry and movement. Set in substantial platinum and weighing 18.8 grams, the design centers on richly saturated Colombian emeralds totaling approximately 3.50 carats. They are framed by approximately 2.50 carats total weight of crisp baguette-cut diamonds (F–G color, VVS–VS clarity), with an additional 0.45 carats of transitional-cut diamonds bridging Art Deco precision and postwar modernism. Measuring 15 mm at its widest point with a depth of approximately 6 mm, the ring has a commanding presence on the hand. A true 1940s statement piece that strong and expressive of a period that favored substance, structure, and enduring elegance. Sizable 5.25.
