These can include AB (rainbow), matte, glossy, luster and others. Although Miyuki's finishes are some of the highest quality, there are a few finishes (such as the silver or gold plated) that can still wear down over time. As such, it's best take jewelry off when using chemicals (cleaning or swimming) as well as sweating or sleeping. The better care that is taken, the longer all finishes will last. These beads are water resistant, but do last longer when well-maintained.
