1870 Texas Map Canvas Print

Appreciate the rich history of The Lone Star State with another Pressler rendition of Texas way back when in 1870. Explore the world-famous mapmaker’s vintage views of Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio amongst others. And, if you look closely, this 1870 map also shows towns, forts, rivers, post offices, roads, and even the locations of several Indian tribes. Did you know that in 1870, Texas fully rejoined the Union on March 30th, when President Grant signed the act to readmit Texas to Congressional Representation? Each piece of our artwork comes delivered ready to hang, with wire hangers included and no additional framing needed. Every canvas is hand-crafted and expertly stretched around wooden stretcher bars, and all of our photo prints use heavy art stock paper to ensure the highest quality results. We use premium canvas, photo paper and inks to produce the highest quality art possible.
