ANCIENT WATER, FROZEN IN TIME

ANCIENT WATER, FROZEN IN TIME. This incredible Goboboseb skeletal quartz is one of those specimens that keeps revealing more the longer you study it. Its sculptural skeletal growth gives the crystal an almost architectural feel, while massive enhydros—ancient pockets of trapped water sealed inside the quartz millions of years ago—bring it to life in a way few specimens can. Add in the natural clay inclusions and exceptional transparency, and every angle tells a different chapter of its geological journey. These aren’t just inclusions… they’re a snapshot of Earth’s history, preserved inside a crystal that has remained untouched for millions of years. Goboboseb continues to produce some of the most extraordinary quartz on the planet, and specimens like this remind us exactly why. Nature doesn’t rush masterpieces.
