Fireball Tool 1826 Combination Square

Fireball Tool 1826 Combination Square – Precision Aluminum Layout Square The Fireball Tool 1826 Combination Square takes the versatility of a traditional combination square and gives it a larger, more fabrication-friendly design. Precision-machined from solid aluminum, the 1826 provides accurate 45° and 90° reference surfaces for layout, measuring, marking, and fabrication work. Its oversized body gives you more surface area to register against tubing, plate, and larger workpieces, making layout fast and easy around the welding table or fabrication shop. Add a Fireball Tool measuring blade for adjustable measurements and layout—or use the 1826 completely on its own as a standalone square. A Larger Combination Square for Fabrication & Layout Small combination squares are great for small work. Once you start working with larger tubing, plate, frames, and fabricated assemblies, a larger reference surface can make the job considerably easier. Fireball designed the 1826 Combination Square to give you that extra working area while keeping the tool lightweight and easy to handle. Use it for: Checking 90° corners Marking 90° cut lines Laying out 45° angles Welding and fabrication layout Square and rectangular tubing Plate and flat bar Frame fabrication Measuring and marking material Shop and machine work General metalworking and layout Accurate 45° & 90° Layout The 1826 gives you two of the most commonly used angles in fabrication: 45° 90° Use the machined reference surfaces to quickly mark material, check an assembly, or establish a reliable angle during layout. For welders and fabricators, that makes it a useful tool to keep close to the welding table for everything from quick cut marks to larger project layouts. Precision-Machined Solid Aluminum The square body is precision-machined from solid aluminum, providing a combination of accuracy, durability, and manageable weight. Aluminum keeps the tool easy to handle despite its larger size, making it practical for everyday use around the shop. Use It With or Without a Blade One of the biggest advantages of the Fireball Tool design is that the square doesn't depend on a ruler blade to be useful. Remove the blade and the 1826 remains fully functional as a standalone square. That gives you two tools in one: Use it as a traditional adjustable combination square when a blade is installed, or grab the body by itself when you simply need a large 45° or 90° reference. Compatible With Fireball Tool Blades The 1826 works with Fireball Tool measuring blades, allowing you to configure the square around the type of work you do. Fireball currently offers compatible blade lengths including: 12" 18" 24" 300mm 450mm 600mm This gives you the flexibility to build a compact measuring setup or add a longer blade when working with larger material. Choose the Square That Fits Your Work Fireball Tool offers two versions of this combination-square design: 1826 – 1" Version The 1826 uses the narrower 1" body design and provides a large, versatile square for everyday fabrication, layout, and measuring. 3827 – 3" Version The larger 3827 version provides an even wider 3" body for applications where additional reference surface is useful. Choose the size that best matches the scale of your fabrication and layout work. Bigger Than a Typical Speed Square One of the defining features of the Fireball Tool Combination Square is its size. The larger body provides more surface area for registering against the workpiece, making it particularly useful for large tubing, plate, frames, and fabrication projects where a small layout square can feel undersized. You get the fast 45° and 90° references you'd expect from a speed square, combined with the versatility of an adjustable combination square when paired with a Fireball Tool blade. Key Features Large combination and layout square Quickly marks 45° and 90° angles Precision-machined from solid aluminum Lightweight and durable construction Larger working surface than most conventional speed squares Fully functional as a standalone square No blade required for basic 45° and 90° layout Compatible with Fireball Tool measuring blades Imperial and Metric blade lengths available Available in 1" 1826 and 3" 3827 configurations Great for tubing, plate, frames, and fabricated assemblies Ideal for welding, fabrication, machining, and general metalworking Useful for measuring, marking, layout, and checking square A Combination Square Built for Bigger Work A combination square is one of the most useful measuring and layout tools in the shop—but traditional versions can feel small when you're working with larger fabrication projects. The Fireball Tool 1826 Combination Square gives you a larger, precision-machined aluminum reference for fast 45° and 90° layout while retaining the versatility of an adjustable measuring blade. Install a blade when you need to measure. Remove it when you just need a square. Bigger reference surfaces. Faster layout. One versatile shop tool.
