Fitting an Overland Vehicle Systems Roof-Top Tent to Your Vehicle. First, you'll need to find a rack that is suited for your car or truck. Overland Vehicle Systems provides a few solutions to help set up your TMBK roof top tent to your vehicle: Freedom Bars for Cars and SUVs, Freedom Truck Bed Rack and Discovery Truck Bed Racks. Static weight capacity confirms that your vehicle and your rack will support the weight of your tent, plus everyone in it and their sleeping gear. Dynamic weight capacity is the amount of force exerted on your car and rack while you're driving, so it will be a separate spec for your vehicle and rack. Rack compatibility is also important - some racks are listed as not compatible with certain tent models. Once you've confirmed that your car and rack can manage the weight of an Overland Vehicle Systems TMBK, follow the provided directions to mount your tent to your car rack or truck bed rack.
