18 Gallon Trace Chemo Collection Bin System (includes pre-paid return label and disposal service)

Description 18-gallon disposal systems are convenient and cost-effective solutions for the proper disposal of trace chemo waste.   Trace chemotherapy waste (meaning less than 3% of total volume) can include IV tubing, medicine bags, vials, or any part of the tubing and needle system that delivers the chemotherapy drug to a patient. However, personal protective equipment (PPE), towels, wipes, and pads may come in contact with chemotherapy drugs as well, and proper disposal is mandatory. All sharps must be placed in a separate sharps container first before placing into this system, loose sharps are not allowed in this system. This is not just a waste container. Every PureWay system includes the container, return shipping, certified treatment, and eco-friendly destruction — all in one price.   Fill it → Seal it → Send it back. We handle the rest.   No drop-offs. No guessing local rules. No separate disposal fees. Who This Size Is Ideal For (Home Use) While primarily designed for healthcare practices, this size is helpful at home when trace chemotherapy waste is generated regularly, such as: At-home infusion or injectable chemotherapy Caregivers managing cancer treatment for a family member Long-term cancer therapy using IV tubing and medication bags Patients receiving frequent nursing visits Multi-patient caregiving households Because cancer therapy creates more bulky materials than standard injections, smaller containers fill quickly. This larger system reduces constant shipments and handling. FEATURES Prepaid return shipping box for convenient return  Hinged lid to minimize smells Leak- and puncture-resistant containers to store and safely transport full OSHA-approved sharps containers Pre-filled manifest simplifies the return process Compliance tracking and notifications Certificate of destruction automatically sent via email and available for download Advantages Reduces your costs by as much as 50% Purchase as needed No contracts, monthly fees, pickup fees, or fuel surcharges Dimensions L - 15.91" x W - 13.19" x H - 25.20"   How Much Fits Inside? The 18-gallon trace chemo bin is designed for bulky treatment waste rather than just needles. Typical capacity: Hundreds of IV tubing sets Dozens of medication bags Hundreds of empty vials Multiple sharps containers (must be sealed first) Chemotherapy-contact items like wipes, pads, and PPE In practical terms, it holds months of home infusion treatment materials in a single return.   Simple Sizing Rule If your chemo supplies are filling a small container every few weeks — or you’re storing bags and tubing separately — this size dramatically reduces storage clutter and return frequency.
