I have lost a few well loved and irreplaceable Renaissance festival mugs over the years that I’ve learned how to care for my own collection to help keep them with me to pass down to my son. I share the pottery care information in that spirit. I have a few of my own Sublime Pottery pieces that I’ve always microwaved and washed in the dishwasher that are all just fine but some of my pieces - like this beauty - I treat like a treasure. I never microwave them or leave them soaking in water. I’ll warm them a bit with warm tap water if it’s a cold winter morning and the kitchen is chilly and I’ll hand wash, towel dry and put them away like my Granny did with her last remaining heirloom china tea cup. It feels special. Like I treated myself and now I’m giving some care to this thing that brings me joy.  * SHIPPING INFORMATION: Unless otherwise indicated, all orders going to the same address will be shipped together (up to 4 pieces in one box). Shipping overages will be issued within 5 business days (but generally sooner) once an order has been packed and weighed. Also, porch piracy is on the rise so make sure that your package is being delivered to a correct and secure address.  Postal refund claims do not include stolen packages. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Due to increased caution with international shipping, it is recommended - before purchase - to inform yourself of the current state of your country's tariffs and/or shipping restrictions with the U.S. to avoid any surprise fees or wait times - using HS code: 6912.00. Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been claimed by USPS.  If your package is being shipped internationally, you may have additional customs fees, duties or value added taxes added to your shipping cost and may require a package to be picked up at a nearby post office. Be sure to keep a close eye on your order tracking. It might be helpful to find an online ‘import taxes calculator’ for your country’s customs agency to get an idea of any possible added costs. Use the HS code 6912.00 (or 691200). Some countries charge up to 20% tax of a packages value. If the fees are too costly and you wish to cancel your order, please let me know b hours.
