16 AWG GXL Primary Automotive Wire, Stranded Copper, Gray, Sold by the Foot

Be ready for any wiring project with our selection of hi-temp automotive primary wire. With its smooth finish and impressive temperature range, primary wire is easy to pull through wire looms, glides smoothly without abrasion, prevents gunk buildup, and is great for use even in punishing engine bays, making it the most widely used wire for automotive and general electrical projects. GXL primary wire has a thin wall cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) jacket, making it more flexible than standard wall SXL wire and earning it a reputation as the most commonly used primary wire. It's an excellent choice for use in areas exposed to high heat or where light nicks and scratches are common. For a lighter, more flexible, but still heat resistant option, check out our selection of TXL primary wire. Sold by the foot. Orders of 50ft+ are shipped on spools.
