Butterflies From Across the Sea - 14" x 14" Gallery Wrapped Canvas

About the Image Butterflies From Across The Sea is an enchanting mixed-media fine art collage that I, Robert Swedroe, have passionately brought to life. This piece celebrates the world's aquatic beauty, adorned with colorful glass and paper butterflies from different countries. The collage's water-like aquatic background, created using paint, glitter, and resin, serves as a mesmerizing stage for the diverse and vibrant winged creatures. I enhanced the artwork further by adding glass beads, pearls, and geometrically designed circles, resulting in a collage full of aquatic tones and a fluttering symphony of colorful butterflies. Butterflies From Across The Sea explores color and movement, set against a serene water-like aquatic background. The play of light on the water's surface brings the artwork a sense of life and vibrancy. Amidst the aquatic background, an assortment of glass and paper butterflies takes flight, symbolizing the diverse cultures and the beauty that spans across borders. Each butterfly glides gracefully across the water, creating a dance of colors and patterns that delights the eye. Glass beads are carefully scattered throughout the collage, representing the shimmering reflections on the water. They interact with the butterflies, adding a dynamic interplay of texture and light. Lustrous pearls are strategically placed, resembling hidden treasures found within the depths of the sea. They add an element of mystery and elegance, elevating the overall composition. Geometrically designed circles create a sense of harmony and structure, drawing attention to the focal points and creating a sense of visual flow. Butterflies From Across The Sea is a visual celebration of cultural diversity and the interconnectedness of humanity. The butterflies from different countries represent the beauty of varied cultures coming together in harmony, much like these colorful winged creatures from across the globe. The water-like aquatic background symbolizes the unifying force of water, which transcends borders and connects distant lands, just as waterways link diverse cultures worldwide. The collage serves as a reminder of the treasures that lie in our shared human experiences, symbolized by the pearls hidden beneath the water's surface. Butterflies From Across The Sea reflects my passion for art and architecture, where I merge various elements to create a visually enchanting mixed media fine art collage. Through the water-like aquatic background, the colorful glass and paper butterflies, glass beads, pearls, and geometrically designed circles, this artwork is a poetic symphony of aquatic tones and diverse winged creatures. This collage inspires viewers to embrace cultural diversity and appreciate the interconnectedness that binds us all as citizens of the world.
