Designed by Karl Stambaugh The flat-bottomed hull will go together easily from sheet-plywood and epoxy in stitch-and-glue fashion. Stambaugh tells us to assemble Catbird by bending pre-cut plywood panels for the bottom (1/2") and sides (3/8") over seven transverse frames. LOA - 16'0" Beam - 5'4" Draft (cb up) - 1'0" (cb down) - 2'0" Weight - 350 lbs Sail area: (ketch) 110 sq ft (yawl) 118 sq ft Construction: stitch and glue plywood panels shaped over plywood frames.
