Our speaker cables are made with high-quality materials and are 100% oxygen-free pure bare copper, which provides excellent conductor performance and lowers resistance in speakers for premium sound quality. They are also CMR/CL3R rated, making them safe and secure for in-wall installations in the home or office, and they are UV protected for use in outdoor direct burial applications. The cables are UL listed and RoHS compliant, and they are available in a variety of sizes and conductor counts. They are flexible and easy to use, with a PVC jacket and a ripcord for easy stripping. 16/2 speaker wire is a type of electrical cable that is commonly used to connect speakers to an audio amplifier or receiver. It has a gauge of 16 and is made up of two conductors that are twisted together. It is often used for low-power applications, such as connecting small speakers to a home stereo system. The two conductors are typically color-coded to make it easy to identify the positive and negative leads.
