Walter QUICK-STEP XX is the finishing end of the range: a hook and loop ceramic disc in 120 and 180 grit only, so it is for blending and final surface work rather than removal. It uses the same Cyclone ceramic blend as COOLCUT XX with a cooling agent added. Because it backs onto a hook and loop pad rather than a rigid fibre arbor it will follow a curve — pair it with a QUICK-STEP interface pad and it conforms to radiused work a flat fibre disc skips over. Light pressure for the best finish, firmer pressure if you want it to cut. This is the 4-1/2" 180 grit disc in ceramic with a hook and loop backing. Priced per disc, sold by the box of 25.
