Vitamin C benefits (immune health & collagen) for sensitive individuals Vitamin C for sensitive individuals Lessens possible gastric irritation Supports the body's defense system Essential for the formation of collagen Buffered Ascorbic Acid Capsules: For sensitive individuals  Vitamin C is a vital nutrient, and your body cannot produce it on its own. This special form of ascorbic acid gives sensitive individuals their essential vitamin C while lessening possible gastric irritation. Our vegetarian capsules offer a neutral pH vitamin C in the form of buffered ascorbic acid that combines calcium ascorbate, magnesium ascorbate, and potassium ascorbate. Vitamin C’s biggest role is as a dietary antioxidant and free radical scavenger. It helps support the immune system by promoting white blood cell function. As with many nutrients, Vitamin C pitches in for multiple jobs. It helps with the absorption of iron and in converting folic acid to folinic acid. It also helps in the formation of red blood cells, and it maintains mast cell function (helping with your immune system). Vitamin C is essential for healthy collagen.
