This volume covers the period when Woolf wrote 5 of her best-known books - Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse, The Common Reader, Orlando, and A Room of One's Own. This is also the time period of the most intimate relationship of her adult life, with Vita Sackville-West, and includes delightful, witty letters she wrote when Vita spent time in Persia. Leonard and Virginia also led an active social life with old and new friends, including many of the Bloomsbury set. The Hogarth Press, London. 1977. Hb, Dj. USED. $45.00
