Description About Metal Art Images Metal Prints Ladybug Amphipods - [Ladybug Amphipods-Cyproideidae] Crinoid Canyon, Horseshoe Bay, Rinca, Komodo, Indonesia These black, red and gold spotted white ladybugs are tiny and currently only found near Komodo Island in Indonesia. They often are seen inhabiting bottom algae in what might appear as a swarm. This particular ladybug is photographed on a sea apple. The textures on the different parts of the sea apple makes it fun and interesting for me to find these small critters on sea apples. Size: 3 mm (~1/8 inch) at their largest Print Sizes available from 4x6 up to 40x60. Included with sizes 12x18 and larger, you get a silver metal box-style frame. If you wish a black metal box-style frame, a float mount system or a print only, (12x18 and larger), please call. This photo image is made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. It has a glossy finish which produces colors that are very vibrant and the luminescence is breathtaking. The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily with any commercial glass cleaner (avoid direct sunlight). It is then mounted on one inch thick aluminum frame. Comes with all the hardware to make it easy for you to put it right on your wall. How archival are Metal Prints? Images printed with the MetalPrints process will last for generations when displayed indoors and out of direct sunlight. Like any fine art print, MetalPrints should not be exposed to direct sunlight or high outdoor temperatures. MetalPrints have an additional benefit over giclee or photographic processes in that they are waterproof and have an ultra-hard scratch resistant coating. The archival value of a print should be judged not only by its resistance to degradation by U.V. light and ozone exposure, but also to moisture and surface damage. When these factors are brought into the equation, MetalPrints are an excellent way to preserve an image.
