In addition, its double strand design improves load distribution. As a result, it performs reliably under demanding conditions. Another key advantage is durability. The 140-2 duplex roller chain maintains stable operation even under high stress. This leads to increased reliability and reduced downtime. What is a 140-2 Duplex Roller Chain? The 140-2 duplex roller chain consists of two parallel strands of links. This double strand design increases load capacity without changing pitch. In practice, it allows higher power transmission in heavy-duty systems. Heat-treated components improve wear resistance and durability. Where is it used? The 140-2 duplex roller chain is used in: Heavy industrial machinery Power transmission systems Mining and construction equipment Heavy conveyor systems Duplex chains provide higher load capacity compared to single strand chains. Key Benefits High load capacity Double strand increases strength. Improved load distribution Reduces stress concentration. Long service life Durable components resist wear. Heavy-duty reliability Built for demanding applications. How to Choose the Right Chain Evaluate load requirements. Check ANSI #140 compatibility. Consider operating environment. These steps ensure proper selection. Maintenance Tips Lubricate regularly. Check alignment. Inspect frequently. These practices extend lifespan. Why Choose PGN Bearings? ANSI-compliant products. High-strength construction. Fast shipping. Technical support.
