Be debonair, carry a money clip. Show your gentlemanly social graces by securing your currency with a coin money clip. The Silver Seated Liberty Half Dollar was minted from 1839-1891. This genuine silver US coin was designed by chief engraver of the US Mint Christian Gobrecht and was based on a sketch from artist Thomas Scully. It reflected America's neo-classical taste at the time. During the 52 years of production, the Seated Liberty Half went through several design changes including adding the motto "In God We Trust." The coin is secure in a screw top bezel. The screw top allows the coin to be removed and replaced safely and at any time by a professional jeweler. The 1 7/8 inch silver tone money clip has a high polished finish that looks great with any attire. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
