It features 600 feet of 7/16-inch fiberglass rod with an integrated copper trace wire, allowing crews to locate sewer laterals, confirm no cross bore has occurred, and trace ductile iron, plastic, tile, and concrete pipe. Markings every 5 feet, along with metric markings every 1 meter, support consistent measurement and tracking. The rodder is built for conduit with a 4-inch or larger inside diameter and can be detected at depths up to 10 feet when used with a signal transmitter and hand-held receiver. A 9-inch bend radius helps guide the line through turns while maintaining control. The rodding reel supports full-line tracing using an electromagnetic signal, helping reduce time spent on digging and trenching. Included components such as the male end ferrule, pulling eye, and accessory kit attached to the frame provide added convenience during setup and operation. With overall dimensions of 47.5 by 44 by 20 inches, this unit delivers a balanced combination of reach, traceability, and field-ready functionality. Its 600-foot length and 7/16-inch diameter make it suitable for crews handling underground utility locating and conduit verification in larger pathways.
