Mina - Moroccan Tomato, Herbs and Spices Simmer Sauce

Rooted in Moroccan culinary tradition, this Tomato, Herbs and Spices Simmer Sauce is inspired by the bold, herbaceous flavors of classic tagines. At its heart is Chermoula, a time-honored Moroccan marinade made with fresh cilantro, parsley, garlic, lemon, and an aromatic blend of paprika, cumin, turmeric, coriander, and cayenne. We build on this foundation by adding ripe tomato for richness and depth, resulting in a thick, flavorful sauce that brings warmth and character to every bite. Traditionally used in fish tagines prepared with carrots, potatoes, bell peppers, and olives, this simmer sauce pairs well with any firm or meaty fish such as cod, halibut, or salmon. It also complements chicken, roasted vegetables, and legumes. Simply simmer your ingredients in the sauce and serve with couscous, rice, or crusty bread to enjoy an authentic Moroccan meal at home. Crafted in Morocco with high quality ingredients and no unnecessary additives, this sauce brings global flavor to your everyday kitchen.
