Atomization Module For LEU & MRU, Mack MP7, Volvo D11 10.8L diesel Part Number: 12MS541 Condition: New Manufacture/Brand: Mack Fits 12MS541 For  Year Make Model 2008–2013 Mack LEU 2008–2013 Mack MRU Engine: Mack MP7 — 10.8L diesel Volvo D11 — 10.8L diesel equivalent/application Purpose of using 12MS541:   DPF collects soot from the exhaust. When the DPF needs cleaning, the system activates the atomization module. The module controls the fuel and air used to create a fine fuel mist. That fuel mist is burned in the exhaust system, creating high exhaust temperatures. The heat burns the accumulated soot out of the DPF. The DPF is then ready to continue filtering exhaust. Signs of Bad Atomization Module 12MS541:   DPF regeneration won't start or won't complete “Regeneration required” or DPF warning light Check Engine / fault codes related to the aftertreatment or atomization system Repeated failed parked regenerations Low engine power or derate Poor throttle response, especially when the truck is heavily loaded Exhaust temperature doesn't rise enough during regeneration DPF becomes increasingly restricted because soot isn't being burned off In some cases, fuel/air leakage or unusual exhaust odor around the aftertreatment system About the Manufacturer – Volvo: Volvo is a Swedish multinational company known for manufacturing premium commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, and construction equipment.
