Jameson 12A-516-600M Duct Hunter Rodder (5/16" x 600', Traceable. 5' Marks)

Highlights: 600 ft. of 5/16 in. Traceable fiberglass rod With copper trace wire Rod marked every 5 ft. with metric markings every 1 m Used For: Non-invasive locating and mapping of underground ducts and pipes Locating sewer laterals and confirm no cross bore has occurred Locating ductile iron, plastic, tile, and concrete pipe Use in conduit with a 2–4 in. inside diameter Detectable at depths up to 10 ft. when energized with a signal transmitter and traced with a hand-held receiver Features: 6 in. bend radius Supports full-line tracing using an electromagnetic signal Reduces time by helping eliminate digging and trenching Includes male end ferrule, pulling eye, and accessory kit attached to the frame The Jameson 12A-516-600M Duct Hunter Rodder is designed for non-invasive locating and mapping of underground ducts and pipes in smaller conduit pathways. It includes 600 feet of 5/16-inch fiberglass rod with an integrated copper trace wire, enabling workers to locate sewer laterals, confirm no cross bore has occurred, and trace ductile iron, plastic, tile, and concrete pipe. Markings every 5 feet, along with metric markings every 1 meter, provide consistent measurement guidance. The rodder is built for conduit with a 2 to 4 inch inside diameter and can be detected at depths up to 10 feet when paired with a signal transmitter and hand-held receiver. A 6-inch bend radius allows the rod to navigate tighter turns while maintaining control in confined pathways. The rodding reel supports full-line tracing using an electromagnetic signal, helping reduce time spent on digging and trenching. Included components such as the male end ferrule, pulling eye, and accessory kit attached to the frame support efficient setup and use in the field. With overall dimensions of 39 by 32 by 18 inches, this unit offers a compact profile while maintaining extended reach and traceability. Its 600-foot length and 5/16-inch diameter make it great for crews working in narrower conduit systems requiring precision and flexibility. For applications involving intermediate pathways and controlled routing, The Jameson 12A-516-600M Duct Hunter Rodder provides a capable and organized solution.
