Jameson 12A-516-1200M Duct Hunter Rodder (5/16" x 1200', Traceable. 5' Marks)

Highlights: 1200 ft. of 5/16 in. Traceable fiberglass rod With copper trace wire Rod marked every 5 ft. with metric markings every 1 m Used For: Non-invasive locating and mapping of underground ducts and pipes Locating sewer laterals and confirm no cross bore has occurred Locating ductile iron, plastic, tile, and concrete pipe Use in conduit with a 2–4 in. inside diameter Detectable at depths up to 10 ft. when energized with a signal transmitter and traced with a hand-held receiver Features: 6 in. bend radius Supports full-line tracing using an electromagnetic signal Reduces time by helping eliminate digging and trenching Includes male end ferrule, pulling eye, and accessory kit attached to the frame The Jameson 12A-516-1200M Duct Hunter Rodder is designed for non-invasive locating and mapping of underground ducts and pipes, featuring a 1200 ft. fiberglass rod with an integrated copper trace wire. Its 5/16 in. diameter supports use in 2 in. to 4 in. conduit, allowing effective navigation through standard pathways while enabling accurate tracing across a range of underground systems. The rodder is built to transmit an electromagnetic signal when energized, allowing operators to trace ductile iron, plastic, tile, and concrete pipe with compatible receivers. It includes rod markings every 5 ft. and metric markings every 1 m to support consistent measurement during deployment. This system helps locate sewer laterals and confirm that cross bores have not occurred, while also reducing the need for digging and trenching. The rodding reel is designed for controlled handling, supporting smooth operation across extended conduit runs. A 6 in. bend radius allows the rod to navigate turns while maintaining flexibility, and included accessories such as a male end ferrule and pulling eye expand application versatility. With a detectable depth of up to 10 ft. and a design focused on efficient underground tracing, the system supports consistent performance across locating tasks. Built for extended reach and controlled operation, the The Jameson 12A-516-1200M Duct Hunter Rodder delivers visibility and handling for conduit and pipe mapping applications.
