A son of Charles and Jane Bingley, Jonathan Bingley, takes center stage. Mr and Mrs Darcy, as well as Jonathan's parents, are observers and commentors. Jonathan is a more complicated character than his easygoing father. Set in mid Victorian England, with political and personal conflicts. Some characters from Austen's original novel do not age well! Some sun-fading of the cover. Complimentary note from author pasted in front page. Entire text is in a smallish italicized font. This rare edition was printed and bound in Australia by The Pink Panther, Sydney. 1999. Paper. USED. $15.00
