120L Alubox Case

"Here's why AluBoxes are our go-to storage solutions..." –EXPEDITION OVERLAND The AluBox 120L Aluminum Case is a storage and transport case handcrafted in Denmark from EN AW-5754 aluminum — a marine-grade, mid-strength alloy used across defense, offshore, and industrial sectors worldwide. Carried on expeditions across all seven continents, AluBox cases are the choice of serious overlanders, emergency services, and military logistics teams who need reliable protection without the weight penalty of steel or the fragility of plastic. Wide and moderately deep with a large footprint — excellent for multi-category base camp storage where a single case needs to organize a full camp kitchen, dry goods, and perishables. SPECIFICATIONS Volume: 120L (4.25 cu ft) Dimensions: 30.71" L × 22.83" W × 11.81" H (780mm L × 580mm W × 300mm H) Weight: 16.53 lbs (7.5 kg) Load Capacity: 220 lbs (100 kg) Material: EN AW-5754 (AlMg3) aluminum, 1mm wall thickness Handles: (2) Sides Latches: (2) Front SKU: S120 Note: All listed dimensions include handles, latches, and hinges. KEY FEATURES EN AW-5754 Marine-Grade Aluminum: The same alloy used in shipbuilding and food processing — non-reactive, non-hardening, and highly resistant to seawater corrosion and industrial atmospheres. Dust and Water Resistant: A rubber gasket seal keeps dust and water out — resistant to the elements but not submersible. The precision-bent ribbed walls and extruded base and upper rim add structural rigidity and further protect the seal. Cast Aluminum Stacking Corners: Heavy-duty corner castings double as stacking cleats — multiple AluBoxes lock together during transport and storage without shifting. Lockable Latches: Front-facing slam latches are padlock-compatible for securing contents in shared or unattended storage environments. Foam or Insulated Liner Compatible: Compatible with traditional die-cut foam and high-quality insulated liners — the insulated liner is validated for blood, vaccine, and pharmaceutical cold-chain transport. RuumX Divider System: Not yet available for this size. Compatible sizes: 42L, 60L, and 73L. Bear-Resistant Certification: The AluBox 42L is IGBC-certified bear resistant — submitted as the representative model because every AluBox is built from the same marine-grade EN AW-5754 aluminum with the same construction methods, regardless of size. The 42L was the only size sent for testing, but all cases share identical materials and build quality. IGBC certification is required for food storage compliance in many national parks and bear country areas. Inside or Outside Vehicle Ready: Mounts permanently or temporarily inside your vehicle or externally on roof racks. Compatible with the Eezi-Awn K9 AluBox Mount. IDEAL FOR Full camp kitchen provisioning for two for 7–10 days Base camp perishable and dry good storage with insulated liner Group clothing and soft goods for 4-person expeditions Emergency supply cache for remote base camp operations IN THE BOX AluBox 120L Aluminum Case (lid and base) COMPATIBILITY RuumX Case Divider System not yet available for this size (currently available for 42L, 60L, and 73L).
