12" x 24" Blank Oversized Router Plate

Struggling with wobbly cuts or uneven bowl depths? Upgrade your plunge router with our massive 12" x 24" Acrylic Base Plate—the easiest way to achieve perfectly flat, consistent results when hollowing out bowls, trays, and plaques from solid wood. This is a direct replacement for your router's small factory base plate. By expanding the surface area that rides along your workpiece, this large acrylic plate acts like a stable bridge. It sits flush on the rim (walls) of your project, ensuring your router bit can never accidentally dive too deep. The result? Perfectly even cuts every single time. How it works: Simply remove your router's existing base plate, use it as a drill guide to mark the mounting holes on this acrylic blank, drill, and mount. The large, clear surface gives you unparalleled visibility and stability, allowing you to focus on your form without worrying about depth consistency. Why you need this base plate: Flawless Depth Control: The wide plate spans the opening of your bowl or tray, riding along the top edges to guarantee a uniform depth from rim to rim. Rock-Solid Stability: Eliminates tipping and wobble common with small stock bases, giving you smoother, safer cuts. Massive Surface Area: 12" x 24" provides ample support for large projects, reducing fatigue and improving control. Clear Visibility: See your cut lines and workpiece clearly through the acrylic as you work. Customizable Fit: Drill your own mounting holes to fit virtually any plunge router model. Perfect for woodworkers, furniture makers, and artists who demand precision. Stop fighting your tools and start creating heirloom-quality bowls with confidence. Upgrade your router today for just $59.99! Please note: This is a blank plate. You will need to drill the mounting holes to match your specific router model using your original plate as a guide.
