12 Speed Chains

Which chain should I get for my bike with 12 gears on the rear cassette? Connex 12-speed chains have been specially developed to meet the requirements of the latest generation of high-performance shifting systems. HIGH PERFORMANCE PLATE GEOMETRY Speed Wing, the innovative outer plate, ensures particularly rapid and silent shifting on our 12-speed chains. The newly developed peripheral chamfering of the outer plate ensures optimum chain guide and gear-changing performance. And for optimal absorption of the high shear forces through extreme transmission, we have implemented a completely innovative process for radial riveting. This process, in combination with a special pin coating, guarantees top performance and long wear. And it goes without saying that each of our 12-speed chains comes with the legendary Connex Link. Connex 12WAX Best 12-speed, factory waxed chain on the market Nickel plated and Hot Wax treated. Precision made in Germany using long-lasting, heat-treated steel with a corrosion-resistant nickel plating. The high-performance wax forms a solid protective layer against dirt and reduces wear. Connex’s special formula Wax with high-quality SCA anti-wear additives measurably reduces friction between pins and chain links for a more enjoyable ride. Waxed chains not only deliver more power to the sprockets, they are also easier to care for and maintain. Connex’s Hot Wax provides a thorough cleaning and builds a dry, dirt-resistant wax layer that effectively protects your chain for up to 800 km. Especially well-suited for high-performance racing, both on or off-road. Connex 12SR Premium Chain for SRAM Flattop Drivetrains Precision-engineered for modern 12-speed SRAM Flattop drivetrains, the new Connex 12SR delivers razor-sharp shifting, maximum durability – with zero compromise. Connex 12SE Best for eBikes The reinforced design, combined with stainless steel inner links, makes this chain extremely resistant to the high-torque load changes in e-bike drives. Designed for eBikes with 500+ watt motors, bikes with smaller motors can use a standard chain. Connex 12SB & 12SB WAX Black with Gold Power Pins and Rollers Precision made in Germany using long-lasting, heat-treated steel with a corrosion-resistant, industry-proven Ultra-Black coating and Golden brass highlights. 100% industry-proven, the Ultra-Black Coating on the plates of this chain ensures optimal corrosion protection. In combination with the gold colored Power Pins and Rollers, the 12SB looks fabulous. Specially developed to meet the requirements of the latest generation of high-performance shifting systems. The optimized geometry of the inner link lends the chain exceptional wear properties. The Connex Speed Wing link shifting performance on current 12-speed shifting systems is extremely fast and quiet.  Connex 12SG & 12SG WAX Gold Colored for a Brilliant Look Its high-grade brass coating offers reliable protection against corrosion – and, at the same time, a brilliant look. With an innovative high-performance plate, the 12SG provides superior shifting properties. Connex 12S0 Best Value The value-priced standard for 12-speed derailer systems. Wippermann Connex 12-speed chain has been specially developed to meet the requirements of the latest generation of high-performance shifting systems. Narrower, not weaker.
