12-Gauge Edging / Planting Spade

If you need a tool that can pull double-duty, then you’re looking for our Planting Spade. This tool is handy for landscaping projects because not only is it great for edging or removing sod, it’s useful for trenching, digging weeds or thick roots, dividing transplants, or really any other shovel-related uses. The blade is strong and won’t bend or break, even in rocky soil, and its longer length allows you to cut deeply on a variety of projects. The handle is the right length to get the leverage you need to make digging easier. The step is solid and wide enough to prevent foot slippage, while the closed back prevents soil buildup. Constructed from 12-gauge 100% Made In The USA steel, it’s up to 30% more durable against foreign competitors. You make your choice of handle: either a high-quality fiberglass that’s coated in a polyester veil to prevent splintering and increase strength, or true American hardwood. It features either a D-shaped polypropylene grip with a no-slip texture, designed to increase leverage and reduce hand fatigue while wide enough to accommodate work gloves, or a rubber grip to provide maximum comfort and decrease hand fatigue through extended use. The Bully Tools 12-Gauge Edging / Planting Spade comes with a limited lifetime warranty that protects against defects in material and workmanship. Founded in 1994.
