No — the kit includes everything needed including the control module, wiring, and mounting hardware. Connect to your vehicle’s 12V system and brake/turn signal wires and you’re operational. Does this integrate with factory brake and turn signals? Yes — the control module taps into your vehicle’s brake and turn signal wiring for automatic activation, so brake lights and turn signals trigger naturally with your existing controls. Can I use the chase lights as a standalone running light without the functional modes? Yes — the control module allows you to run the lights in static or custom pattern modes independent of brake and turn signal inputs. Are chase lights required on the dunes? Many organized dune events and off-road parks require or strongly recommend rear chase lights for safety. The 12" Chase Light Set fulfills this requirement and adds functional brake and turn signal capability beyond a simple LED bar.
