12/2 Speaker Wire - 12AWG 2 Conductor, CL2/CL3R, In Wall, Outdoor & Direct Burial Rated, 65 Strands

Our speaker cables are made with high-quality materials and are 100% oxygen-free pure bare copper, which provides excellent conductor performance and lowers resistance in speakers for premium sound quality. They are also CMR/CL3R rated, making them safe and secure for in-wall installations in the home or office, and they are UV protected for use in outdoor direct burial applications. The cables are UL listed and RoHS compliant, and they are available in a variety of sizes and conductor counts. They are flexible and easy to use, with a PVC jacket and a ripcord for easy stripping. 12/2 speaker wire is a type of electrical cable that is commonly used to connect speakers to an audio amplifier or receiver. The "12/2" designation refers to the size of the wire, with the first number indicating the gauge (or thickness) of the wire, and the second number indicating the number of individual conductors (or "strands") within the wire. In this case, the wire has a gauge of 12 and is made up of two separate conductors that are twisted together. This type of wire is often used for low-power applications, such as connecting small speakers to a home stereo system, where the distance between the amplifier and the speakers is relatively short. The two conductors are typically color-coded to make it easy to identify the positive and negative leads.
