While Thom re-created many of his favorite Disney stories on canvas, he also envisioned classic Disney characters set within traditional Kinkade images. In these paintings from Thomas Kinkade Studios, his dream is proudly brought to life. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse stand on the edge of Sweetheart Cove. An afternoon boating outing has led them to this gentle inlet where a nearby cottage filled with family and friends await their arrival. But before going inside to join the revelry, they slip away to enjoy a quiet little moment between just the two of them.
