Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig

Imer 45° Miter Guide for Masonry 350 Smart Cut Features Optional miter guide for 45° miter cuts Fits the Masonry 350 Smart Cut Masonry Saw The Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig is a purpose‑built miter guide accessory designed to help you make precise 45‑degree miter cuts on the IMER Masonry 350 Smart Cut 14" masonry saw. By accurately positioning bricks, blocks, paving stones, and tile at a consistent angle, this optional jig turns the Smart Cut 350 into a reliable mitering station for corners, returns, and architectural details. What Is the Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig? The Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig is an optional miter guide/fixture that mounts on the cutting table of the Masonry 350 Smart Cut saw. IMER refers to it as an “accurate and easy‑to‑use miter” developed for the Smart Cut 350 (and the larger Masonry 750) when your work requires 45‑degree miter cuts. Retailers describe it as an “optional miter guide for 45 miter cuts” that fits the Masonry 350 Smart Cut masonry saw. Instead of freehanding miters or building homemade fixtures, this jig provides a dedicated alignment tool engineered to match the Smart Cut 350’s 20" × 16" cutting table and travel path. Compatibility with the Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Saw The Masonry 350 Smart Cut 14" masonry saw is designed for cutting bricks, blocks, paving stones, and tile on the largest cutting table available in its class. It offers: 14" blade capacity 4‑3/4" max cutting depth Up to 26" cutting length (30" with plunge) The Smart Cut 350 product sheet specifically notes: “If your work requires you to make 45 degree miter cuts, we have developed an accurate and easy‑to‑use miter for the Smart Cut 350 and Masonry 750 saws.” The Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig is that accessory. It is designed to: Fit the Masonry 350 Smart Cut’s cutting table geometry. Work with the single‑arm cutting head design, which allows larger cuts and plunge capability. Complement the saw’s existing 180° protractor/guide by adding a more dedicated 45° miter alignment solution. This ensures that the jig physically fits, aligns, and locks correctly to provide repeatable 45° cuts on the Smart Cut 350. How the Miter Alignment Jig Works While IMER does not publish a separate detailed spec sheet for the jig, the function is clear from product descriptions and the saw’s miter accessories description: The miter alignment jig mounts to the cutting table or engages with the table slots/edges on the Masonry 350 Smart Cut. It presents a fixed 45‑degree fence surface or guide face against which your material (brick, block, paver, tile) is held. As the cutting tray rolls smoothly on ceramic nylon rollers with sealed bearings, the workpiece stays at the set 45° angle, so the blade produces a consistent miter cut. Because the Smart Cut 350’s cutting head rides in an adjustable alignment collar (allowing left/right and up/down adjustment), the saw can be tuned for sharp, accurate cuts pass after pass. The miter alignment jig builds on that accuracy by ensuring the workpiece is positioned at the exact angle relative to the blade. This setup is especially valuable for: 45° outside corners on block or brick veneer. Miters on paving stones used for steps, planters, or edging. Decorative returns and corner details in masonry projects. Instead of eyeballing the angle or relying on improvised jigs, the alignment jig acts as a dedicated, repeatable reference. Benefits of Using the Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig Using the miter alignment jig with your Smart Cut 350 offers several practical advantages: Consistent, accurate 45° miters The jig is designed specifically for 45‑degree miter cuts, eliminating guesswork and reducing angle errors. Consistency is critical when creating visible corners where mismatched angles are very noticeable. Faster setup and cutting With a dedicated jig, you don’t need to square and clamp each piece separately or constantly adjust a generic protractor. This speeds up repetitive miter work, such as cutting multiple corner units for a long wall or step run. Better edge quality and fit Combined with the Smart Cut 350’s smooth tray travel and 2 HP motor, the jig helps produce clean, aligned miters that fit together tightly with minimal grinding or adjustment. Improved safety and control Holding material firmly against a fixed 45° guide reduces the risk of twisting or binding during the cut. The operator can focus on feeding the tray smoothly rather than trying to hold an angle by hand. Maximizes saw capabilities The Smart Cut 350 already offers 4‑3/4" depth and up to 30" length with plunge; the miter jig lets you exploit that capacity for more advanced, professional‑looking work. Typical Applications The Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig is particularly useful in applications where aesthetics and precision matter: Brick and block corners Creating 45° outside corners on brick/stone columns or pilasters. Producing mitered returns on veneer to avoid exposed cut ends. Paving and hardscape work Mitering paver steps, caps, and wall blocks to wrap around corners. Cutting decorative angles on coping stones and edging. Tile and architectural details 45° miters on large pavers or tiles when the Smart Cut 350 is used as a multi‑purpose saw. Creating clean, professional corner details in outdoor kitchens, planters, and masonry benches. Because the Smart Cut 350 can cut up to 4‑3/4" deep and up to 30" long with plunge, it can handle many common block and paver sizes that require mitering. The miter jig makes those cuts repeatable and accurate. Integration with Smart Cut 350 Features The Masonry 350 Smart Cut has several design features that pair well with the miter alignment jig: Smooth rolling tray The cutting tray rides on ceramic nylon rollers with sealed bearings, one mounted under the guide bar to prevent jumping off the saw. This smooth travel is important when pushing material against a 45° guide for a clean, straight miter. Adjustable cutting head alignment The cutting head rides in an alignment collar that can be adjusted left/right and up/down to maintain perfect perpendicularity and angle accuracy as the saw wears. Noise‑reduced blade guard The blade guard is lined with sound‑absorbing material from the boat‑building industry, reducing blade noise and making extended miter cutting more comfortable. Portable yet stable stand Integrated spring‑assisted folding stand and wheel kit keep the saw stable and at working height for precise miter operations. With these features, the miter alignment jig adds a focused capability—precise 45° miter cutting—to an already accurate, stable masonry saw platform. Why Choose the Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig? If you own or are considering the IMER Masonry 350 Smart Cut saw and your work requires clean, accurate 45‑degree miters on brick, block, paving stones, or tile, the Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig is the accessory designed for that job. IMER’s own product literature explicitly calls out that they have developed an “accurate and easy‑to‑use miter” for the Smart Cut 350 and Masonry 750, and the alignment jig is that tool. By fitting directly to the Smart Cut 350’s table and working in harmony with its single‑arm design, adjustable cutting head, and smooth tray, the miter alignment jig makes 45° cuts faster, safer, and more precise than improvised methods. For masonry and hardscape contractors who want professional‑looking corners and returns without trial‑and‑error, the Imer Masonry 350 Smart Cut Miter Alignment Jig is a cost‑effective upgrade that unlocks the full mitering potential of the Smart Cut 350 masonry saw.
