100W Remote-Controlled Solar LED Area Light with Lens Tilt

Built to Last, in Every Sense This is a solar area light built to last — built to last through the night, through extended cloudy stretches, and through a long service life thanks to its commercial-grade LiFePO4 battery (typically 2,000+ charge cycles). Thanks to a field-replaceable battery design, the fixture even outlasts its initial battery so the light you install today keeps working for years or decades after cheaper, integrated-battery designs end up in the trash. The Biggest Battery in the Lineup: At 1228.8Wh, this battery is 33% larger than our own 100W SLA area light and powers up to 6 days of autonomy in intelligent mode. With the longest runtime of any solar area light we carry, it is well suited for sites where reliability is non-negotiable. Commercial-Grade Battery Built for the Long Haul: A LiFePO4 battery rated for 2,000+ charge cycles is built to outlast the cheap batteries found in most solar lights, delivering a genuinely long service life rather than the one- or two-season lifespan common in budget fixtures. Field-Swappable Design so the Lights Stay Up and the Costs Stay Down: When the battery does eventually wear down, it's field-replaceable — swap it on-site and keep the same fixture running, rather than replacing the entire light the way most solar fixtures require. The Right Mode for Every Site: The included remote ships with three preset profiles — an energy-conserving mode with a low overnight baseline, and a mode that keeps full motion-triggered brightness all night — no separate accessory purchase required just to get useful control. We can also custom-program the lights to match the exact needs of your site and application. Wider Motion-Sensing Range Means Fewer Blind Spots: The built-in microwave sensor detects motion across a 100° cone up to 72 ft out, a wider detection zone than the PIR sensors common on many budget solar lights, and stays consistent in temperature extremes where infrared sensors can lose sensitivity. A Bigger Panel for More Reliable Charging: A 113W solar panel, the largest in the lineup, recharges this larger battery efficiently even on shorter winter days, supporting up to 6 days of autonomy in intelligent mode to carry the light through extended cloudy stretches. Charges Smarter Than the Competition: An MPPT charge controller squeezes more usable energy out of every hour of sunlight than a standard PWM controller, especially valuable paired with the larger panel above, since smarter charging means more of that extra capacity actually reaches the battery instead of going to waste.   Ideal Applications Village Streets & Urban Roads: Type II distribution suits roadway and street lighting applications where a serviceable, long-lasting fixture reduces long-term maintenance costs. Parking Lots: Reliable microwave motion sensing and multiple working modes suit parking lot security lighting where consistent detection matters. Parks & Courtyards: Field-replaceable battery design makes this a practical long-term choice for municipal and park settings where budget-friendly maintenance matters over the life of the installation. Beaches & Coastal Sites: IP66 sealing stands up to salt air and coastal exposure better than a standard IP65 rating. Sites With Extended Cloudy Seasons: Up to 6 days of battery autonomy makes this the right choice for regions with prolonged overcast weather, where a smaller battery would risk running dark. Cheap solar area lights often advertise inflated equivalency numbers that don't reflect real output, and they claim "commercial grade" seals while failing to disclose battery chemistry. A solar light is a system made up of many components, and each of them must be commercial grade to stand up to long-term service. Here's what separates our truly commercial grade fixtures from cheap marketplace alternatives. This Fixture Typical Marketplace Import Published Specs Real, tested wattage and lumen output Often inflated "equivalency" wattage claims — actual output is a fraction of the advertised number Battery Capacity & Serviceability 1228.8Wh LiFePO4, 2,000+ charge cycles, field-replaceable — the largest battery in our lineup, and swappable when it wears down Often undisclosed or sealed-in — a lower-grade cell that degrades after 300–500 cycles typically forces a full fixture replacement Charging Controller & Panel MPPT paired with a 113W monocrystalline panel — disclosed, maximizes harvest in overcast conditions Often unspecified or basic PWM — less efficient, especially on cloudy days Motion Sensing Microwave sensor — wide 100° detection cone, consistent across temperature extremes Often a basic PIR sensor with a narrower range, or no motion sensing at all Lamp Life L70: 167,500 hours Often unspecified or under 50,000 hours Color Temperature 4000K neutral white — meets commercial and municipal lighting standards, lower perceived glare Often a stark 6000K–6700K bluish white common in budget fixtures, with higher perceived glare Warranty 5-year warranty — a true commercial-grade fixture backed by our US-based team Often 1–2 years, with limited support and a difficult or unclear claims process A solar fixture is a system — panel, battery, controller, and LED all have to perform together. A waterproof housing doesn't mean much if the battery inside it degrades within two years and can't be replaced. This fixture is built so you never have to choose between the two.   Frequently Asked Questions Will the battery charge on cloudy or overcast days? Yes. The MPPT charge controller continues pulling in usable solar energy on overcast, rainy, or snowy days, when a standard PWM controller in a cheaper fixture would largely stop charging. The 1228.8Wh LiFePO4 battery, the largest in our lineup, holds up to 6 days of reserve to carry the light through extended stretches of bad weather. How does this light perform in cold weather? The battery is rated to charge between 32°F and 122°F. In colder conditions, the battery can still discharge and run the light using its stored charge, but recharging slows or pauses until daytime temperatures rise back above freezing. The 6-day battery reserve is built with this in mind, giving the fixture a substantial buffer through cold spells. How do I replace the battery when it wears out? The battery is field-replaceable, so a maintenance technician can access and swap it on-site without removing the entire fixture from the pole. This keeps the light in service far longer than a sealed-battery design, where the whole fixture typically has to be replaced once the battery degrades.   ELEDLights Stands Behind It 5-Year Warranty: Full manufacturer coverage — purchased through ELEDLights.
