100 Watt Diamond Series Type 3 Voltage Converter MODEL DS-100

100 Watt Type 3 Voltage Converter • Step Up & Step Down Voltage Transformer The International DS-100 Diamond Series 100 Watt Type 3 Voltage Converters are the top of the line Voltage transformers. These Type 3 voltage converters with an extra durable lifetime coil are thoroughly tested to be free of defects in workmanship and materials. They are hand soldered, insuring the best possible electrical connections. With the prices of copper rising daily, we offer extremely competitive prices on our voltage transformers. Some companies claim to have lighter weight transformers. These transformers will be lower quality since less copper is used. In addition, a basic round style transformer may be used to save in manufacturing costs, again resulting in lower quality. Most importantly, don't forget the Golden Rule of voltage transformers. Always use a voltage transformer rated 2 to 3 times higher than the wattage rating of the appliance you are using. Some of the appliances you can use with this 100 watt voltage transformer are a cell phone charger, a clock radio or a small portable fan. We highly recommend these Diamond Series Voltage transformers if you are visiting or relocating to another country. Weighs 3 lbs. This built in technology will turn the transformer off when connected to a electrical device that is too powerful for the transformer. When this triggers you can simply reset the transformer on models that are larger than 500 watts size, while on 500 watts and smaller a fuse needs to be replaced. ✔ ✔ Extra Durable, Lifetime Rated Coil ✔ ✔ Silent Operation Made with superior quality high end Transformer coils these transformers are made to be silent. Should not have any humming noises like many of the inferior model transformers. ✔ ✔ Thermal Protection Thermal protection is a protection that gets activated by a fuse inside the transformer converter when it is too hot or overheats. This can happen sometimes when the transformer is overused or used on a appliances that is very close to the max watts of the transformer. We suggest to buy a transformer that is at least double the wattage so that this protection doesn’t activate. If you wil be using the transformer in a place that is hot, then try using a larger transformer then you normally would for that device. This protection will auto resolve when the transformer cools down. ✔ ✔ Overload Protection ✔ ✔ High Temperature Protection High temperature protection is a protection that is in the transformer that will activate the fuse or circuit breaker when the transformer reaches a high temperature. This feature activates when the temperature is too high. This can happen when the appliance or electronics used on the transformer are very close to the max watts and the transformer is overworked. Once it reaches a high temperature it will automatically shut down. This can be resolved automatically when it’s back to a normal temperature or by pushing the circuit breaker switch. ✔ ✔ 5 Year Warranty Backed by a 5 year best in class Limited warranty you can own these transformers with the peace of mind that you purchased a quality product that is made to last.
