100% Raspberry Juice – NFC (Not From Concentrate)

Pure, naturally tart and refreshing 100% raspberry juice, cold-pressed and made directly from raspberries—not from concentrate. Raspberries are naturally rich in plant pigments and are traditionally valued for their refreshing, pleasantly tart character. Their slightly acidic flavor stimulates the senses and makes raspberry juice a wonderful addition to teas, drinks, porridges, and desserts. Raspberry in St. Hildegard’s Tradition St. Hildegard considered raspberry particularly useful when a person was experiencing fever and loss of appetite. She described preparing raspberries in a small amount of water and drinking the resulting “raspberry water” morning and evening. In the Hildegardian tradition, raspberry water with galangal has also been used as a traditional preparation during periods of fever and seasonal illness. Raspberries have long been appreciated for their cooling character and their traditional association with digestion and perspiration. When fresh raspberries are unavailable, this 100% NFC raspberry juice offers a convenient way to incorporate pure raspberry into your Hildegardian kitchen and traditional preparations.
