100% GRASS FED BONE BROTH PROTEIN

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body making up 30% of our total protein content. It is often called the "glue" that holds our bodies together and is the major component found in connective tissue. Collagen maintains the structure and integrity of your skin, muscle tissue, bones and tendons. Until the modern era, in which our culture eats far more sugar and processed foods, collagen-rich bone broth was eaten in much greater quantities. Things like soups, stews, sauces, gravies and other broth based meals were routinely eaten. In addition to eating fewer collagen-rich meals today, another problem is that our bodies produce less collagen as we age – making supplementation something worth strong consideration in order to meet our body's needs. THE BENEFITS OF COLLAGEN Not only does collagen provide structure for our bodies, it actually improves the way our bodies work, both on the inside and the outside. Consuming collagen protein can have profound benefits: Boost metabolism Support gut health and improved digestion Support lowering the risk of heart disease Helps arthritis and supports joints Reduce cellulite Grow healthier hair and nails And the list goes on... Collagen also contains an amino acid called glycine which our bodies cannot produce enough of but is vitally important. The problem with collagen protein – while still beneficial – is that most sources come from the skin of the animal, not its bones. When collagen is sourced from the animal's skin, we miss out on all of the extra nutrients and restorative benefits of the bones. We created Paleovalley 100% Grass Fed Bone Broth protein to make getting collagen into your diet faster, easier, and without having to simmer bones for 48 hours. Bone broth from grass fed beef bones is rich in proteins and amino acids that are sorely lacking in standard diets today. Our bone broth protein is crafted from healthy, grass fed, pasture-raised beef bones. We use no chemicals or solvents... just good old fashioned bone broth that is then gently powdered. Other bone broth protein and collagen products often claim to be made from "grass fed" cows when, in fact, the cattle are finished on grains. How do we know? We've called their sources directly and not one has verified that they are only fed grass. Paleovalley 100% Grass Fed Bone Broth Protein is the only of its kind made from truly grass fed cows raised on pesticide-free, grass pastures. The cows are never fed GMO grains (or any grains, for that matter). WHY OURS IS BETTER? 1. 100% Grass Fed and Finished We source our bones for our bone broth protein from cattle that are 100% grass fed and NEVER fed grains! Sadly, this is not the case with nearly all of the collagen products on the market. Since the term "grass fed" is unregulated, large collagen manufacturers are using this claim as well as "pasture-raised" when, in actuality, the animals are finished in a feedlot where they are fed grains. 2. Made From Bones Not Hides The problem with collagen protein – while still beneficial – is that most sources come from the skin of the animal, not its bones. When collagen is sourced from the animal's skin, we miss out on all of the extra nutrients and restorative benefits of the bones. 3. Not Overly Processed Our bone broth protein is made the same way you would make homemade broth – by simmering the bones until as many proteins and nutrients are extracted. Water and bones... that's it! We then use a gentle drying method to turn the broth into a powder. Other collagen products (often labeled as "peptides") require extreme processing and often use acids and/or other chemicals to extract the protein. 4. No Pesticides Our bones are sourced from cows that graze freely on open grass pastures that are free from pesticides and herbicides. We strongly believe that the use of chemicals on grass is a detriment to the health of the animals, the consumer, and the environment. We even verify with third party lab tests for over 40 different pesticides and herbicides which have come back negative.
