10″ Swivel Ultra High Capacity Polymer – Model 150

The Swivel Lock and the Wheel Brake Options may add 1 week to the lead time. They are not returnable if ordered with either option. The Plate Caster Model 150 with a Ultra High Capacity Polymer wheel has been designed for the most massive caster application that can be solved with a single wheel plate caster.  Plate Caster Model 150s can handle loads up to 20,000 lbs on each plate caster are moved with mechanically powered equipment.  Features: easier rotations, diminished vibration, and longstanding caster performance.  The metal frames are zinc plated for rust avoidance, and all mobile parts have lubrication fittings. In a manufacturing facility where carts carry heavy loads across the floor, Caster City’s Heavy Duty Industrial Caster – Model 150 handles the task with a 20,000 lbs capacity, an 8-1/2” x 8-1/2” top plate, and 7” x 7” bolt hole spacing, using a precision machined 7” swivel bearing and 1-1/4” tapered roller bearings for steady operation at speeds up to 3 mph. Featuring grease fittings, a zinc-plated finish, and an optional bolt-on swivel lock, this caster is designed for tough industrial jobs but isn’t built for abuse beyond its capacity—steer clear of rough conditions or overloading, and reach out to Caster City at 800-501-3808 for mechanically powered equipment advice. *This Plate Caster Model 150 contains a Ultra High Capacity Polymer Wheel. The Inner Workings of the Ultra High Capacity Polymer Caster Wheels Ultra High Capacity Polymer Caster Wheels from Caster City are engineered to support heavy loads while protecting floors from the damage typically caused by metal wheels. Unlike polyurethane wheels, which can develop flat spots or delaminate under prolonged static loads, these non-marking black polymer wheels are compression molded and machined for superior durability and performance. Their straight-sided design maximizes load capacity, making them an ideal choice for indoor applications on smooth surfaces where floor preservation is critical. Available in 2”, 3”, and 4” widths and diameters ranging from 3” to 12”, these wheels are equipped with 2 to 4 precision sealed ball bearings (depending on size) for smooth operation and long service life. With a hardness of 80 Shore D and a temperature range of -20°F to 250°F, they resist corrosion, chemicals, and impacts, offering a robust alternative to steel wheels. These wheels are designed for a wide range of heavy-duty applications across industries, including material handling, manufacturing, warehousing, aerospace, automotive, and more. Their flat tread face ensures stable load distribution, and the compression molding process eliminates the risk of flat spots, making them perfect for equipment like platform trucks, assembly line carts, or automated guided vehicles (AGVs) that remain stationary under heavy loads. Capable of withstanding shocks, chemicals, oils, and acids, these wheels are also suitable for harsh environments like chemical plants, food processing facilities, or marine applications. For high-temperature settings (up to 250°F) or specialized needs, such as stainless steel bearings or roller bearings, Caster City offers customizable options to meet your requirements.
