10" handstrap

Jaltest 10" Handstrap — For Jaltest Rugged Tablet The Jaltest 10" Handstrap (Part #78901040) is a practical carry accessory designed for use with Jaltest rugged tablets. A handstrap lets a technician carry and hold the tablet securely with one hand while keeping the other hand free to navigate the touchscreen, connect cables, or point to components on the vehicle. In a busy shop environment where you are moving between bays, crouching under trucks, and holding a tablet in awkward positions, a handstrap is the difference between a comfortable diagnostic workflow and a dropped device. Why a Handstrap Matters for Shop Diagnostics One-Handed Secure Hold: Slide your hand through the strap to carry the tablet hands-free or hold it securely while your other hand is working — essential when connecting cables, reading live data, or documenting findings at the vehicle Prevents Drops: The single biggest risk to a rugged tablet in a shop environment is dropping it. A proper handstrap eliminates the most common drop scenario — a tablet slipping when you shift your grip or get distracted Better Ergonomics: Carrying a tablet by its edges for hours leads to fatigue. A handstrap distributes the weight across the palm and wrist, reducing hand fatigue during extended diagnostic sessions Designed for the Jaltest Tablet: Sized and configured for Jaltest 10-inch tablet hardware — fits securely without interfering with ports, buttons, or the camera Low Cost, High Impact: At $27, this is one of the lowest-cost accessories in the Jaltest lineup — and one of the most practical. Protecting a $2,000+ tablet with a $27 handstrap is straightforward math Who Should Add This Handstrap? Any technician who carries a Jaltest tablet around a shop floor or into the field. If your diagnostic workflow involves walking between vehicles, climbing into cabs, working under lifts, or moving through a warehouse servicing forklifts and material handling equipment, the handstrap makes the tablet significantly easier and safer to handle. It is especially valuable for technicians doing live data runs where the tablet needs to be in hand and readable while the vehicle is operating. Compatibility The 10" handstrap is designed for Jaltest's 10-inch rugged tablet platforms. If you are running the Jaltest Rugged Pad (SKU 78901011) or another Jaltest tablet in the 10-inch form factor, this strap is the right fit.
