10 cu ft Gator In-Bed Spreader

Modern Controls Meet More Capacity 10 cu ft Gator In-Bed Spreaders expand your Gator’s capabilities and help you be more productive when spreading large amounts of ice melt materials. Featuring exclusive controls and ample hopper capacity, these spreaders are the ideal solution to partner with your Full-Size Crossover XUV or HPX Work Series Gator. Controlling a spreader is simple thanks to the 3.5-in. (9-cm) weatherproof, color display that conveniently mounts to your Gator’s dash. Four push buttons are used to navigate menus and control functions including independent adjustment of the auger and spinner speeds, vibratory motor mode, and even auger reverse to quickly clear jammed material. If a CAN Bridge is installed your XUV835 and XUV865, you will also have automatic stop functionality, which halts spreader operation when you stop the vehicle. After initial setup, routine attachment of this display is fast and tidy as pre-installed wiring and existing holes are utilized for your convenience. A variety of convenient features are also found on the spreader. As you fill the hopper, a top screen prevents unwanted clumped material from entering. Once full, a fitted tarp slips over the top of the hopper to keep your material dry. While in operation, a horizontally-mounted 3-in. (7.6-cm) auger moves material to the 12-in. (30-cm) spinner. Should material become bridged, the vibratory motor features four modes (low, high, pulse, ramp) to shake it free. This motor is also connected to a steel “V”-shaped baffle, which keeps weight off the auger and improves material flow. As material exits the hopper, it drops onto the 12-in. (30-cm) steel spinner, which can distribute material up to 30 ft (9.1 m). This entire assembly can be easily disconnected to grant you with access to your Gator’s hitch and minimize the spreader’s footprint for storage. You can also rest assured that this spreader is mounted securely to your Gator’s cargo box as a result of a unique frame and mounting hardware. Mounted to the hopper is a powder-coated frame that sits flush against the front of the cargo box. To enhance stability and resist corrosion, two stainless steel tie-down rods are used to secure the spreader to the tie down hooks in your Gator’s cargo box.
