1 Socket Type-B Non-Shunted Kit

MaxLite has been committed to providing energy-efficient lighting products since 1993. One of the first movers into LED technology in the industry, MaxLite offers an extensive line of quality, certified indoor and outdoor LED lamps and luminaires. A five-time recipient of the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award for its industry leadership, MaxLite continues to be at the forefront of energy-efficient technologies through the innovative research and development capabilities of its teams and facilities in New Jersey, California and Indiana. Now, adding to their broad catalog, MaxLite is introducing their T8 Wiring Harness Retrofit Accessories. MaxLite's T8 Wiring Harness for Type-B SE Tubes is the ideal solution for retrofitting fluorescent T8 lamps with Type-B LED T8 Tube Lights. Each T8 Wiring Harness Kit comes with pre-wired non-shunted G13 lamp holders, as well as a power quick connector to help reduce installation time and cost. Extra sockets are also included in each kit. A common LED T8 retrofit bulb powers the LED T8 tube from a single end ONLY. In these cases manufacturers require that you do not install the tube lights in a fixture with shunted lamp holders (found in all fixtures using instant start ballasts). If the current lamp-holders are shunted, remove them and replace them with the extra non-shunted lamp holders. These kits are available in 1-lamp, 2-lamp, 3-lamp, and 4-lamp configurations. This item is MaxLite G13KIT1 (1409026), the 1-lamp wiring harness for LED T8 single-end powered, ballast bypass lamps. This kit comes with 1 pre-wired lamp holder and one additional socket. All components within this kit are UL recognized. If your retrofit calls for more than four lamps or other configurations please contact us for assistance.
