1.25" Super Panfish Urchins

The Ultimate Crappie Jigs & Panfish Baits: 1.25" Super Panfish Urchins Whether you are targeting dinner-plate bluegills, aggressive black crappie, or hard-fighting yellow perch, panfishing is one of the most rewarding ways to spend a day on the water. While they are the perfect target for a fun family outing, don’t be fooled—trophy slab panfish can be surprisingly clever. If you want to stop guessing and start catching, you need the best bluegill baits and crappie jigs that trigger a fish's natural predatory survival instinct. That is exactly why we engineered our flagship 1.25" Super Panfish Urchins. Designed to be the ultimate micro soft plastic panfish lure, these tiny powerhouses mimic the exact aquatic insects, nymphs, and invertebrates that monster panfish feed on daily. Built by Hand, Family-Owned, & Made in America We don't mass-produce our gear in overseas factories. Every single 1.25" Super Panfish Urchin is proudly made in America, poured by hand by me and my son. When you buy from us, you aren't just buying another piece of plastic—you are supporting a family-owned business and getting custom-quality tackle poured with a father-and-son passion for the sport. We design them to catch fish, and we build them to last. Why the 1.25" Super Panfish Urchin Catches More Fish: Hyper-Realistic Micro Action: The unique urchin design features multiple sensitive micro-tentacles that trap tiny air bubbles and create subtle, undulating micro-vibrations in the water with the absolute slightest rod twitch. Unbeatable Hook Sets: Because these panfish soft plastics simulate real, organic forage, crappies don't just nip at them—they inhale them and hold on longer, giving you a massive window to set the hook. They are highly effective as open water lures, fishing your favorite brush pile or rigged up as ice fishing plastics for winter vertical jigging. Ready to Fish Out of the Box: We want to make sure you spend less time rigging and more time catching. That is why every single Super Urchin purchase comes with a free jig equipped with only the best #10 Mustad sickle hook. Just tie it on, bait it up, and get to fishing immediately! 3 Proven Techniques to Fish Your Super Panfish Urchins How you fish your Panfish jigs depends entirely on the debris and underwater structure you are targeting. Match your presentation to the environment using our three favorite techniques: 1. The Bobber Rig (Best for open water and scouting) Use a premium slip bobber and rig one to two jigs directly under it, spacing them out accordingly to cover different depths of the water column. Once you are rigged, just cast it into your favorite Panfishhole fishing spot and reel in slowly with the occasional jerk for movement. If the Panfish are there, they will bite. 2. Cast and Retrieve (Best for covering water and active fish) This is just like you would fish jigs in saltwater. Just cast your Super Panfish Urchin out, let it sink to the desired depth, and work it back carefully—jigging it along the way to make those micro-tentacles dance and pulse. 3. Vertical Jigging (Our absolute favorite way to fish for Panfish) Tie on your favorite crappie jig tipped with a 1.25" Super Panfiah Urchin and drop it straight down into your favorite Panfish spot. Slowly jerk it up and let it fall, giving it a wounded baitfish appearance. No matter the terrain you are fishing—whether it's fallen trees, brush piles, or an artificial crappie hole—this should work every time. Choose the Ultimate Ultra-Light Rod & Reel Setup Leave the heavy bass gear at home. To feel the lightest ticks on your Panfish plastics and keep from tearing their delicate mouths, you need the right ultra-light fishing tackle: The Best Jig Weight: Standard lead-head jigs, tungsten jigs, or micro-jigs weighing between 1/64 oz and 1/16 oz are the absolute sweet spot for the 1.25" Urchin. Rod: A 5'6" to 7'0" Ultra-Light or Light power fishing rod with a fast action tip. Fishing Line: Light 2 lb to 4 lb test monofilament or fluorocarbon line. High-visibility line can also help you watch for subtle line movements before you even feel the bite. 🎣 Buy the Best Panfish Bait and Tackle Online Ready to out-fish everyone else on the lake?
