0.5 Inch Double Fold Bias Tape

0.5 Inch Double Fold Bias Tape is a smooth textured, crisp-feeling strip of fabric that is used primarily as a hem facing. Cut diagonally from plain woven fabric, 0.5 Inch Double Fold Bias Tape is soft and offers a slight mechanical stretch. With a total width of 1.5 inches, the tape comes folded and pressed three times into a “V-shape” with each side measuring 0.5 inches. This double fold makes 0.5 Inch Double Fold Bias Tape sturdy and gives it a thickness of 0.46 millimeters thick when folded or 0.23 millimeters thick when unfolded. Add 0.5 Inch Double Fold Bias Tape to unfinished edges of fabric. Create bindings on quilts and make decorative seam finishes on apparel or décor. Furthermore, 0.5 Inch Double Fold Bias Tape can also be used in unconventional ways such as in dress piping, button loops, drawstrings, and other decorative applications.
