The Pigment Project

THE PIGMENT PROJECT A 1:1 color mentorship for deeper color intelligence 30 days of personalized education using your own work to develop a more refined eye, stronger decision-making, and internal color confidence. WATCH THE FREE MASTERCLASS  ONLY 5 STYLISTS AT A TIME WHAT CHANGES WHEN YOU TRAIN YOUR EYE? You stop looking at the hair and simply thinking… “What formula should I use?” And start seeing: What pigment is present? What level am I actually working with? Where is the warmth coming from? What is the porosity telling me? Is this a formulation issue or an application issue? What needs to change and what doesn’t? That shift changes everything. Because when you can accurately read what is happening in the hair, your decisions become more intentional. Your formulations become more thoughtful. And your confidence comes from understanding, not guessing. THIS ISN’T MORE INFORMATION. It’s a different way of learning. Instead of watching another course and trying to apply the information later, you bring your actual work into the room. Your color. Your formulas. Your before and after photos. Your videos. Your questions. Your results. And we work through them together. You’ll learn to: SEE MORE Notice subtle differences in depth, pigment, warmth, porosity, saturation, and tonal balance that can completely change your approach. THINK MORE CLEARLY Break down what is happening in the hair instead of jumping straight to a formula. FORMULATE WITH INTENTION Understand why you are choosing a level, tone, or direction rather than relying on a recipe. CATCH PROBLEMS EARLIER Recognize what may be happening during the process so you can make better decisions before you reach the final result. ANALYZE YOUR OWN WORK Look at your results objectively and understand what worked, what didn’t, and why. TRUST YOUR DECISIONS Build confidence in your own ability to assess the hair and choose your direction. YOUR WORK BECOMES THE EDUCATION. This is where The Pigment Project becomes completely personalized. For example… You submit a finished result and your thought process behind it. We look closely and identify that the gloss is sitting too light for the underlying pigment. The result is intended to be warm, but the warmth is reading as unwanted brass. Instead of simply saying “use a cooler formula,” we look at why that warmth is showing up. We discuss dropping the gloss level to provide more depth while maintaining the warmth you actually want. Then we look at whether a cooler tone is necessary to balance the remaining warmth without losing the desired result. We may also notice inconsistent lightener saturation contributing to uneven lift, particularly through the root area. Now you understand more than how to approach a similar situation next time. That is the difference. IMAGINE BEING ABLE TO… Look at a difficult color and know where to start. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by everything happening in the hair, you can break it down into what actually matters in real time. Understand why your formulas work or don’t. Not just what you used, but how the hair, pigment, level, tone, and application contributed to the result. See things you used to miss. Small shifts in warmth, depth, saturation, porosity, and application start becoming visible to you. Make adjustments while you’re working. Your eye becomes an active tool, not something you rely on only when you’re evaluating the finished result. Stop relying so heavily on other people's formulas. You can use education as a foundation while developing your own ability to make decisions. Look at your own work and actually know what you're looking at. This is one of the biggest shifts that can happen in your work. FROM THIS → TO THIS “Something feels off.” → “I can identify exactly what is off.” “What formula should I use?” → “I understand what the hair needs.” “Why did this turn brassy?” → “I can identify where that warmth is coming from.” “Why is the lift uneven?” → “I can see where application and saturation affected the result.” “I hope this works.” → “I understand why I’m making this choice.” “I need someone to tell me what to do.” → “I can work through this myself.” THE EXPERIENCE 30 DAYS • 1:1 • YOUR WORK TWO PRIVATE ONLINE STUDIO SESSIONS Personalized 1:1 sessions focused entirely on your work, your questions, and the areas you want to develop. REAL-WORLD COLOR ANALYSIS Bring in the actual work you're creating behind the chair so we can analyze what happened, not hypothetical scenarios. PERSONALIZED FEEDBACK Photos, videos, formulas, thought processes, questions, wins, and challenges can all become part of our work together. PRIVATE SUPPORT You’ll have a daily private space to share your work and questions throughout the experience, with support Monday–Friday. VOICE + VISUAL FEEDBACK We can talk through your work in a way that allows you to actually see what I’m seeing and understand how I’m analyzing it. THIS IS FOR YOU IF… You have years of experience but want to sharpen your eye. You understand the fundamentals but want to become better at applying them to complicated, real-world situations. You want personalized feedback instead of another generalized education program. You want to understand the why behind your color decisions. You’re ready to use your own work as a tool for growth. You want your confidence to come from your ability to see, analyze, and decide. WHAT YOU'RE REALLY DEVELOPING A trained eye. The ability to recognize what is happening in the hair before reaching for an answer. A stronger decision-making process. The ability to move from observation → analysis → action. Your own color intelligence. The ability to take everything you've learned over the years and apply it to what is actually in front of you. Confidence that lasts beyond one formula. Because when you understand why, you can carry that knowledge into the next client, the next challenge, and the next color. THIS ISN'T ABOUT LEARNING MY FORMULAS. It’s about developing your ability to see. Your work will become easier to analyze. Your decisions will become more intentional. Your formulations will have more purpose. And the questions that once made you second-guess yourself can become the very questions that help you find the answer. This is what happens when you stop simply looking at color and start learning how to truly read it.
